The Peer Mentor Program, simply put, aims to let existing students help new students in a purposeful way. Current students who are looking for an empowering interpersonal leadership experience and want to help their juniors in the process are encouraged to apply to become Mentors.
Quantitative Finance is a rapidly growing industry, and the Quant Club at BITS Pilani aims to provide a platform for students interested in finding like-minded peers to explore the field. It also aims to promote the culture of quantitative finance on campus. It plans to conduct sessions and talks and organize other events to help students learn about the latest trends in the finance industry and hone their quantitative finance skills and aptitude. Interest in math, coding, and finance is expected.
The JPC will work closely with the PU core committee and be responsible for interacting with company officials, handling logistics and most importantly, holding a successful and seamless Placement Season. The members of the JPC will gain comprehensive knowledge about the placement process, interact with the recruiters visiting the campus and get an opportunity to hone skills such as formal communication, diplomacy, problem-solving etc.
The recruitments begin at the END of 2-2.
As part of the Students' Academic Cell (SAC) , they are a body headed by the Director of BITS Pilani, on a mission to improve the academic culture on campus and create awareness about diverse career and research opportunities. There is no CGPA prerequisite for applying.
The club boast partnerships with all major web3 firms like Ethereum Foundation, Consensys, MetaMask, BuildersTribe, Comdex, Polygon, Push Protocol, BeraChain etc and non-web3 entities like Devfolio. The club members have launched web3 startups, secured positions in top blockchain firms and achieved victories in all major Solana and Ethereum hackathons globally.
